On September 1st, 1985 the legendary Titanic shipwreck was discovered, 2.37 miles below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. Over the years since its discovery, only a select few humans have had the honour to explore the site of one of the world’s most infamous tragedies.

Now, a spectacular new virtual reality experience brings YOU on a journey through the wreckage of the mighty Titanic, available for exclusive viewing as a part of Titanic: The Exhibition at Byron Kennedy Hall in Sydney.

Through stunning graphics that place the visitor inside a virtual dive vessel, guests will travel to the depths of the Atlantic and explore the murky waters that surround the sunken ship.  This state of the art virtual reality technology will fully immerse visitors in the impact of the tragedy, giving them an unparalleled view into what remains of “The Ship of Dreams.”

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

 The time on your ticket confirmation is the time of your VR experience, which is stationed near the end of the exhibition. You may choose to view the exhibition before, or after your session, depending on your VR session time. Please allow at least one hour to fully tour the exhibition if you intend to do so before your timed VR Experience begins. The exhibition opens at 10am and closes at 7pm.

Please note that the VR experience is only accessible from inside Titanic: the Exhibition, and exhibition tickets are required in conjunction with VR tickets to access the VR experience. Only select the “VR only” option if you have already purchased exhibition tickets. If you have not already purchased exhibition tickets, please select one of the exhibition + VR packages. 

Due to anticipated demand for the VR experience, please arrive to the VR Experience promptly at your ticketed time.  To accommodate other guests, late arrivals may not be immediately accommodated.
